FolyAccount and data deletion
This page explains how to delete your account with Foly (operated by Fruitlab) and what happens to your data. Deleting an account cannot be undone, and the same data cannot be restored.
Deleting from the app
- 1Open the Foly app and sign in.
- 2Go to Settings from the bottom tab bar.
- 3Select Delete account.
- 4Review what will be deleted and kept, then check the box to agree.
- 5Tap Delete account — it is processed immediately.
Deleted immediately
- Profile information (name, date of birth, bio, job, location and so on)
- Profile photos and verification photos
- Recommendation, like and profile view history
- Chat requests and responses, stories and reactions
- Lifestyle, taste, balance game and scenario answers
Kept for a limited period
The items below are kept to comply with the law and to operate the service safely, and are destroyed without delay once that purpose is met.
Payment receipts and Peach transactionsKept for 5 years under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce
Report handling historyKept for safe service operation and consistent moderation
Chat messages already delivered to othersShown as 'Deleted user' on their screen, with your identifying information removed
Good to know
- After deletion you appear as 'Deleted user' in other people's chats.
- You can sign up again at any time with the same sign-in method (phone number, Google, or Apple).
If you can't access the app
If you can't delete it in the app — for example because you lost your device — email us the request below. We'll process it after verifying your identity.
