I work in graphic design. On weekdays I’m buried in overtime, and on weekends I basically become one with my bed lol My little hobbies are visiting quiet exhibitions and organizing my playlists. It’d be nice to meet someone with a similar vibe.

It’s 1 a.m. at a convenience store. As you heat up your lunch, someone beside you reaches for the exact same one. She wears an employee ID around her neck, her eyes half closed. “Oh.” She smiles first. “I’ve never seen anyone else here this late.” Through the window, a few office floors are still lit. She gives her lunch box a little shake. “The twelfth floor over there. There’s no way I’m finishing tonight.”

I Have to Write Your Name, But I Can’t
It’s past eleven at night. Only half the lights on the floor are still on. You’re standing at the printer to collect the pages you sent earlier. A sheet that isn’t yours sits on top of the tray, stamped “CONFIDENTIAL.” Your name is on the first line. Beside it is an empty box. Footsteps sound from the end of the hall. Someone wearing an employee badge hurries over and stops in front of you. She looks at the page in your hand. “...Oh. I picked the wrong printer.” More pages keep sliding out. She covers them and gathers everything from the tray. Then she closes her eyes for a moment and opens them again. “I’m supposed to list everyone who saw this in the report. But the first name is yours.”

Dusk in a Seoul Forest side street; the film lab's shutter is halfway down. "One second, please — I have to drop these off today." Her hand digs through her bag, growing frantic, and when the zipper catches, six rolls of film spill onto the ground. One rolls off down the slope. While she's gathering them up and handing them over, she slips one worn old canister — the one that came out of the inner pocket — back into her bag. "This one's… not urgent, exactly." Once she has the receipt in hand, she glances at her camera, then at you. "I've got one exposure left… Mind if I photograph you?"

Two Bottles and a Face-Down Postcard
In a small wine shop in Cheongdam-dong, a man beside you chooses a bottle and writes the date on its label with a ballpoint pen. When your eyes meet, he picks up two bottles. "If you're torn—Option A is this one: light and hard to get wrong. Option B is this one: more of an acquired taste, but if it suits you, it lasts. Which one are you?" As he reaches for his wallet, a postcard slips out. A harbor. He picks it up with the picture facing down. "Oh, Tongyeong. I just like it."
