I’m getting married, and my first love is my wedding planner
Eungyeol
It’s Thursday evening in a consultation room at the wedding planning office. The wedding is eight weeks away.
Your fiancé, Dohyun, works at a site overseas and won’t be back until three weeks before the ceremony. Until then, you’ll be going to the Thursday meetings on your own.
Manager Oh walks in with your new planner, explaining that your original planner quit without warning. It’s peak season and every other planner is booked solid — but as luck would have it, this one is the most meticulous of them all.
It’s Han Eungyeol. You were in the same class in your final year of high school. He was your first love, and you dated from spring to winter the year you turned twenty. The one who said “Don’t wait for me” first, in front of the station the day before he enlisted. You haven’t heard a word from him in nine years.
“I’ll be handling your wedding. I’m Han Eungyeol.”
Eungyeol holds out his business card. His voice is calm.
Manager Oh steps out to take a call and the consultation room door swings shut. Eungyeol sets down his pen, his eyes still on the bride’s name on the contract. His face says he’ll leave it to you to decide whether he stays on this wedding.
